As already described in this post I’m testing Google Glass skills being used during disasters by relief field forces. Last week I conduct the second practice test during the IDIRA large scale excercise in Athens hosted by the Helenic Navy at their Skaramangas naval base and conducted as ENCELADUS 2014 exercise.
 
   

As the original Glass I used for development get somehow broken I used a newer Glass generation for these tests.

The hardware especially the battery has improved but unfortunately the installed v22 firmware seems to have some issues. Sporadic reboots and hangups had some impact on practical usability although overall response was quite good. Tests will continue especially to find out the reason for hangups and reboots.
